Frequently Asked Questions:
1. Does Bluegrass Muffler do anything other than exhaust work?
Yes! We work on brakes, suspension, tune-ups, and more on all makes and models.
2. What kind of warranty does Bluegrass Muffler provide?
We provide a limited lifetime warranty on stainless steel systems, otherwise, 12 months or 15,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
3. Does Bluegrass Muffler offer high-flow catalytic converters?
YES. We offer a full line of high-flow catalytic converters in a range of sizes.
4. Will you install exhaust components I purchased elsewhere?
Yes, but warranty is to be determined at time of installation.
5. Can I have headers installed?
Yes, we can install your aftermarket manifolds, please call or stop by for pricing.
6. If my vehicle is originally equipped with a Y-Pipe, can I have a true dual exhaust system installed?
No. You must retain the original design from the manifolds to the converter, but we can build a high-flow Y-pipe.
7. Can my spare tire still be stored under the bed of my truck if I want duals?
It depends on the application. In some instances you have to either remove it or replace it with a donut spare; Ford Rangers and Chevy S-10's occasionally will require this.
8. I want a High Performance exhaust, but I don't want my vehicle to be loud. Is this possible?
Yes! We can custom design an exhaust system for you that is only 5-10% louder than your factory exhaust system.
9. How long will I have to leave my vehicle for a custom exhaust system to be installed?
This depends on the application and system. In most cases if we have the vehicle in the morning, we can have it back to you that same afternoon or early evening.
10. If I have a brand-new vehicle, does it void the manufacturer's warranty to install a performance exhaust system?
It's always best to check with your dealer to see how 'mod-friendly' they are. As long as you replace the exhaust from the converter back, your warranty should stay in tact. |
